A familiar title is a starting clue
Twister and Twisters share storm-chasing territory but are separate films. The Quiet Place collection contains the original, Part II and Day One. Open each title's own page for its year, cast and premise instead of expecting one card to represent every chapter.
Use release order when you want a simple route
Collections present connected films deliberately. Inside Out begins with the first film before the second. Despicable Me and the Minions films have separate production records. A prequel's fictional chronology does not change when the film itself was released.
Companion series keep their own progress
The Boys and Gen V have different season lists. Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon do too. Save the productions separately and set their checkpoints independently so a pause in one does not overwrite your reminder for the other.
Names can match without a connection
Use cast, year and synopsis to identify Arrival, Hit Man or another title with similar-name results. An actor's name can be a better search clue than adding more general movie words.
Open collections for deliberate groupings, or use search filters when the task is identifying one exact production.
